Volunteer as a Leader
Make a lasting impact by mentoring youth, fostering community connections, and enjoying outdoor adventures. Develop personal leadership skills, build meaningful relationships, and inspire the next generation through hands-on guidance and teamwork.
While Scouting is primarily focused on youth development, adult leaders also have the opportunity to earn awards and recognition for their dedicated service, leadership, and commitment to the program. These recognitions not only celebrate their contributions but also inspire others to uphold Scouting’s values.
Be a Role Model
Inspire and empower the next generation to make ethical decisions, embrace challenges, and lead with integrity.
Enhance your own leadership, communication, and organizational skills through hands-on experiences and training opportunities. Many training opportunities allow adults to hone their leadership skills through both interaction with youth and with peer adults.
Enjoy Your Own Adventures
Participate in outdoor activities, camping trips, and Scouting events, experiencing the joy and excitement of Scouting alongside the youth.
Make a Lasting Impact
Shape the lives of youth by teaching leadership, teamwork, and life skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
Build Lifelong Relationships
Form meaningful connections with Scouts, fellow leaders, and families who share your commitment to making a difference.
